40 Days of Fasting and Prayer

40 Days of Prayer & Fasting

For the purpose of seeking God's face and hearing from His Spirit, we are therefore entering into a 40 day period of Fasting and Prayer here at First Baptist Church Odem, beginning Tuesday, October 1st.

The Basics (details below)
-We are asking each person to use the daily prayer guide. (Pick up in foyer)
-We are asking each person to fast from something during the entire 40day period.
-We would like to have at least one person conducting a full fast each of the 40 days.

Please PICK UP the 40 Days of Prayer & Fasting GUIDE as well as the DAILY Prayer Guide this coming Sunday in the Foyer. 

Whether you hold a 1-day fast or an extended 40-day fast, I pray that our Lord's most wonderful love and blessings will be poured out on you as you take this exciting step of faith.
